Timothy R. Tucker received his bachelor and master of music degrees in vocal performance and conducting from the University of North Texas. For many years, Tim traveled the United States and the globe as a professional opera singer. In 2002, he moved to Little Rock to take a position as a professor of music at Philander Smith College. After 13 years at PSC, God called Tim to the music ministry at First United Methodist Church of Hot Springs. After seven years there, Tim has answered God’s calling once again, this time to serve at North Little Rock FUMC. Tim is looking forward to serving this congregation and leading the music ministry to new heights. Tim is married to Colleen, a critical care nurse, and they live with their son Aiden, and their two dogs, Heidi (Pug) and Sugar (Great Pyrenees) in Little Rock. Aiden will be graduating soon and then will be attending the University of Arkansas in the fall.
