In John Wesley’s famous sermon, “The Almost Christian,” he encouraged people to follow Christ wholeheartedly. In Almost Christmas: A Wesleyan Advent Experience, author and pastor Magrey deVega leads a group of authors in exploring how we can make the same commitment to Christ during Advent and connect our Wesleyan heritage with the traditional Advent themes of Love, Hope, Joy, and Peace. ​

​John Knorr and Pastor Annie will lead this 4-week Advent study beginning Wednesday, December 2 from 5-6pm via Zoom.
They will combine the music and heritage of Wesley in this study on Wednesday nights. 

​The book is available from Cokesbury or Amazon.  A devotional is also available, and highly encouraged. 

• Pastors Lynn and Annie will use the devotional during Prayers with a Pastor during Advent. 
• Steven Carr will also be leading the youth on Wednesdays through this study as well. 

On Sundays beginning November 29th, we will explore these themes as a congregation during our liturgy and sermons. Even if you can’t join the study, you might want to purchase the book and devotional to enhance your worship experience!
