Can you imagine what your life would be like if you had NO payments…if you were completely debt free!?! Some families from our first classes can now tell you how it feels.

Financial Peace University will not only show you how to eliminate debt, but will also show you how God would have us to manage our finances. Regardless of your financial situation, this program is guaranteed to be a blessing to you and your family. By the end of this 13 week event, you will truly understand the meaning of Financial Peace and what that means as a Christian.

Make plans to be at our Free Preview January 31^st following our morning worship OR February 3^rd at 6:30 PM. in the WayPointWorshipCenter. This will be an opportunity to learn what the program is all about and meet families that have gone through earlier classes. You don’t want to miss it.

Believe me, this is the most fun you will ever have learning how to handle money!

Classes begin February 21^st @ 12:30 PM. Lunch will be provided.

Fat Tuesday 2009

Fat Tuesday Pancake Supper was held on February 24 and over 200 were served.  The food was great and the fellowship was even better.  If you missed this meal – well maybe next year?  Thanks to all the Methodist Men and Youth who helped with this meal.  Below are several pictures of the cooks, helpers, and customers.

Hollyfest Bazaar - November 6 & 7, 2009

From the following photos, the public and church members enjoyed this year's version of our annual bazaar.   Crafts items made by the women of UMW were in high demand as were the white elephant items.  The chili supper sponsored by the UMM was great, as always.  The silent auction items went well, reportedly only one item did not sell.  The bake sale items went fast as FUMC has many great cooks.

Barn Bash 2009 was held on October 28 and fun was had by all.  The church Youth provides this event to our community as a thank you for the community support of their pumpkin patch.  Below are several photos of those enjoying themselves:

The Builders Sunday School Class had it annual Fall Hot Dog Festival on October 24, at the home of Jim and Pat Barnett.  Below are several photos of this exciting event!

Got Pumpkins?

On September 27, 2009 "we got pumpkins".  Below is a video and several photos of youth and adults unloading pumpkins.  Proceeds from the sale of pumpkins support FUMC's youth programs.  Thanks to all who participated in the 2009 Great Pumpkin Sale.

Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure was held Oct. 17

 CRAFT GROUP

On July 7, 2009, the FUMC Craft Group and friends made their annual outing, to visit Miss Charotte’s Eats & Sweets located in downtown Keo, Arkansas.  Twenty-two brave souls participated.  As you can see from the photos below, everyone enjoyed themselves.

Christmas 2008

Children and Youth, along with several adults, sing to some home bound church members and residents of a local rest home.   Christmas is never far away when children are involved!

Wacky Wednesday November 12, 2008

The Wacky Wednesday group took a trip to the Skate Connection recently and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.   Check out the following pictures:

2008 Are You Smarter Than A Youth Member?  The UMY and 50+ Fun Bunch hosted a spaghetti dinner and game show November 9, 2008.  Over 190 people were enterained as the youth overshadowed the adults.  The following pictures reveals excitement and hungry people.
